Tardiness
I use every minute between clients to sanitize and prep the space for a new session. For that reason, sessions cannot be extended beyond their scheduled time.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled session time to settle in so we can start on time. If you are 30 or more minutes late we will reschedule. the appointment

Prenatal
One of the most amazing things about the human body is how it changes. I have additional training in pre and postnatal massage. If you are pregnant or a new parent please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare the additional equipment to create the best experience for your body.
-
Insurance
At this time I do not bill insurance.
HSA and FSA cards are accepted as forms of payment.
I can provide a monthly itemized receipt that includes my NPI & TIN for you to provide to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Payment for the session is expected at the time of service.
-
Illness
The room is fully sanitized between each client and a HEPA filter will be running throughout your session.
Massage is not appropriate when you’re sick and clients are expected to reschedule if experiencing symptoms of any kind. If you show up to your appointment with visible symptoms you will be asked to leave.
I will gladly mask by request.
What to expect
All bodies are welcome on my table regardless of ability, race, experience or size. Bodies make noise, please never worry about a grumbling stomach or gas unless it’s causing you discomfort.
Please arrive to your appointment 10-15 minutes early to allow yourself time to use the restroom, discuss your intake form and settle in.
After we come up with a treatment plan, I will leave the room to wash my hands while allowing you time to dress down to your comfort level. Before I return to the treatment room you will position yourself on the table and under the blankets. When it comes to clothing, you can leave on or take off as much as you are comfortable with. I will work around all worn clothing to the best of my ability. Your body will remain fully covered by blankets and I will uncover the areas I am working on as I am working on them.
I will use a combination of lubricants (typically lotion and oil) to support the gliding motion of massage. Please list all allergies on the appropriate area of the intake form.
If you need to take a break for any reason please let me know, that time is not able to be “added back” to the session.
This is YOUR time. Please speak up with any requests (pressure, temperature, areas of focus, music, anything!) My goal is to create a relaxing environment to support your healing.
After your massage it is very important to drink plenty of water to “flush out” any metabolic waste that may have been stirred up during your session. It is not uncommon for clients to feel like they are in the beginning stages of a cold for a day or two after the appointment. This feeling should subside with hydration and rest. Try to avoid dehydrating beverages such as caffeine or alcohol for the first few hours after your massage.
Vigorous exercise after a massage is not recommended. Allow your body 24-48 hours to rest and recover from your massage to minimize any strain or inflammation to your muscles. Working out before your appointment is OK.
After your massage, try to rest and relax as much as you are able. Allow your body and your nervous system time to soak in all of the benefits. If you have any questions feel free to reach out directly.
