Hello!

Thank you so much for being here. I’m so grateful you’re considering working with me. Before we dive in, let me share a bit about myself.

I’ve been interested in the human body for as long as I can remember. Growing up as an athlete I felt like I had a decent understanding of strength, movement and its importance to health. However, I  didn’t feel passionate about it until I needed support in healing from injuries. I felt a pull to know how it all worked, and how it all worked together. I started receiving massages, took a deep dive into my yoga practice, and began dabbling in mindfulness. From there, I started noticing changes in my anxiety and overall wellness. In 2017, almost 10 years later, I started the 800 hour massage therapy program at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon.

I had the unique experience of going through massage school while pregnant, and my awe of the human body expanded. The shifts our bodies are capable of are astounding! Change is inevitable, which is why I feel it’s extremely important to meet my clients where they are at the moment. There is no “one-size-fits-all” massage, just as there is no one style of movement that works best for all bodies. In my treatments and classes I strive to bring a balanced and individualized approach. I seek to create a space where clients feel seen and heard and are comfortable sharing their feedback with me. I welcome all bodies to my table.

My massage work blends an intuitive style of grounding and relaxation with deep tissue and table-adapted Thai modalities. I have additional training and experience working with pre- and postnatal clients, and advanced myofascial techniques. I also enjoy incorporating hydrotherapy and aromatherapy into my standard treatment plans.

When I’m not working I’m typically home spending time with my husband, our daughter, our two dogs and six chickens. I consider myself to be a jack of all trades and an expert at none. I enjoy running, gardening, Pizza Fridays, and creating.
